My name is Mark Mumford, and I am an actor currently located in Kalamazoo, MI. From a young age growing up in my hometown of Seattle, WA, I had a passion for the stage, and I have since stuck with it for my entire life. From performing “concerts” at the city park when I was four, to my first musical (I was Willy Wonka in Willy Wonka Kids!), I have always been drawn to live performance. I am currently continuing my training and working both within the BFA Music Theatre Performance program at Western Michigan University, with an additional Dance Minor, as well as locally in West Michigan. In high school, I attended Walnut Hill School for the Arts, a premier arts boarding school near Boston, MA where I majored in Theater and undertook pre-conservatory level training. I am guided by the fundamental belief that there is no better gift to give than the one of laughter.

Escanaba in da Moonlight! And that’s a wrap on Season Two! I can’t believe it’s been three weeks since we closed Much Ado About Nothing at WMU Theatre! Really leaning into the crazy with my second area recital as a sophomore BFA Music Theatre Performance student at WMU! 2025!!! Not a big schoolwork poster but thought I would share my first Area Recital as a sophomore MTP BFA at Western! Had a blast working on this and can’t wait for the next one! SUMMER DUMP!!! (finally) HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING Had an absolute blast with the evil bird…Whoville was fun too!!
